Gilthead Seabream

Gilthead seabream is a fish of rocky habitats with an important commercial value. It is common in the Mediterranean Sea and it is present along the Eastern Atlantic coast from the United Kingdom to Senegal. Juvenile fish remain in relatively shallow areas (up to 30 m), while adults can reach deeper waters (usually no more than 50 m).
