In Berlengas, there are several species of Pagrus spp. all well known by anglers. Recreational fishing is carried throughout the year in Berlenga Reserve. Seabreams usually occur in rocky and sandy bottoms, from the coast to about 250 meters deep, but reaching up to 100 meters. It feeds on shellfish and other fish.
