Skeletal Soils

Areas where the soil layer is very thin or where the existing soil is very compacted. In these areas is possible to find small plants such as Berlengas rupturewort Herniaria berlengiana and Berlengas fleabane Pulicaria microcephala, two species that are endemic to the archipelago.
