Consolidated Gravel

Deposits of granite fragments that are mainly found on the island slopes. This habitat is formed over time, resulting from the fragmentation of granite rock. This is the predominant habitat in Berlenga Island and reflects the island antiquity. In this habitat it can easily be found three Iberian endemics plants: Echium rosulatum, Calendula suffruticosa and Silene latifolia.
